(Poetry) Lost in the Rain
Lost in the Rain
Rain on my cheek
Hiding falling tears
Autumn in New York
Leaves crunch softly
Cushioning my footfall
The moon hides in clouds
Slate blue black skies
Cool air sends shivers
Hugging myself walking
My destination unknowable
My heart torn in confusion
A million directions to go
Yet only one can truly prevail
My fingertips feel numb
Lost in thought and tears
Where does my heart belong
The lifelong question beckons
Never offering any reply
Rain washing thought away
Tears purging the surface
Perhaps the truth beneath
A season of falling leaves
Winter kiss and cold loss
Nothing to warm the heart
Hold fast to a shard of light
The tiniest bit of courage
That is the reflection of hope

Autumns Kiss (Poetry)
Autumns Kiss
The leaves are weeping color
Summer waning to flame trees
Squirrels scamper hoarding nuts
Hot chocolate and warm cider
Thoughts of turkey and eggnog
Cool breeze bites your cheeks
Last lone rose of summer fades
Green grass pales to yellow
Kicking crisp piles of falling leaves
Gathering wood for roaring fires
Cool nights and warm snuggles
Harvest wine on lovers’ lips
Taste the change on the air
Autumn fairies herald in whimsy
Scurrying leaves about your feet
Giggling a darting out of sight
Playful days and cozy nights
Autumn awakens the child inside
Moving the heart to yesteryear
Memories and new ones to explore

Summer Heat (Poetry)
Summer Heat
I savor the languid heat of summer
Easing into my senses ardently
The barest breath of air to tease
Rising up to rustle across my cheek
The split of lightning breaking night
Across a sultry acrid summer sky
Streaking it in pale salmon and silver
Electric snap on the air before the rain
Green new grass wilting from full drops
Falling from voluminous heavy clouds
A perfect night for limbs intertwined
For secret places undiscovered unbidden
Until the first pink of dawn emerges
Breathless staring into strangers eyes
Ablaze of summer mingled with passion
Allowing a heat that holds no boundaries
Scorched by unrelenting crimson fire flamed
Point of no return without any reservations
Cooling down in the aftermath, hours waning
A blanket of raindrops over satiated passion
Bring on the heated days of summer dreams
Aching to dance among her thunderstorms

Poetry
I tremble deep inside because I love you
Without explanation, rhyme or reason
Quietly accepting that you burn my heart
Yet I am nothing to you but a passing face
Eyes that long for you to want them as yours
I am but a fool daring to feel for you this way
Sadly I know hot how to stop myself from this
Lost to the vow my heart has pledged to you

Down The Rabbit Hole {Poetry}
Down The Rabbit Hole
Down the rabbit hole
Without the exit sign
Seeing visions spiral
Fall across my mind
Touching nothing
Feeling the blackness
Endless rabbit hole
Twists and turns flow
Falling until I am spent
Trying to claw back up
Pushed down by the dark
The ghosts that haunt
Spirit broken empty
Vague like a cloud
Not sure of its own rain
Waiting for someone
A life line to predict it
To tell it to rain to fall
The sun in the distance
A way out of the hole
To tired to climb up
Free fall in darkness
Where is the light
Dreams forgotten
Engulfed and alone
Down the rabbit hole

(Poetry) She Waits For Love
She Waits For Love
She waits with eyes that do not see
For anything to replace the empty
A heart that has fallen sad forgotten
From lovers left dead and rotting
For the empty to be replaced by love
For quiet lost prayers sent above
For that stranger with familiar eyes
That will be the one and not lies
The to reawaken her aching heart
Bring new beginnings a fresh start
Cause her spirit to dance perhaps
Make her jaded side take a chance
Where love's been long tucked away
Let the edges of disappointments fray
Until he finds her saddened face
Giving love a chance a new place
She waits for love as winter does spring
Longing to remember her heart can sing

Poetry
Early spring rain falls on my cheek
Clinging to my eye lashes warm
Gray out to some yet vibrant to me
A cascade of tears from heaven
Remembering something beautiful
As simple as a raindrop on my cheek
Like the touch of a friend gone by
Stopping to say l love you to me
From a place where we'll meet again
Only a thought apart, a raindrop away
Feeling love inside me they are here
I rejoice in the rain as I remember
Nothing is further than a heartbeat
Real love can never be divided or lost
Hold fast to each moment that is dear

You Are Love (Poetry)
You Are Love
I want to be the sun that warms your cheek rousing you from slumber
The cool kiss of snow on your lips like an ice cube warmed in your mouth
Heated as I melt trickling down the back of your throat to slake your thirst
I want to be the invisible air you draw inside of you and exhale on a sigh
My fingertips like your own touch familiar with every single part of you
You crawled beneath my skin and took hold of my heart inside your hands
So I ache for you in places I did not know a mortal could feel inside of
Love is not a word enough to give voice to my thoughts alone for you
To be the blanket the keeps you safe as you slumber right beside me
The water that cascades over you in when you bathe, the soap cleansing you
The rainfall clinging to your eyelashes reflecting your emotions on your cheek
Your clothing as intimate upon your body as I long for mine to be with you
The rapture of release when we are divinely joined in shared desire
I love the texture of your skin, toying with the hint of hair across your chest
Falling asleep in your arms to the sound of your beating heart against my ear
A multitude of raw emotions and not enough places to tuck them inside of
The soft kiss that of the velvet soft first rose petals of spring on your lips
Just watching the rise and fall of your gentle breathing when I cannot sleep
Dare I open my eyes to find some cruelty and discover you are just a dream

Our Tree (Poetry)
Our Tree
We wrapped around each other
Divining our love together
As intertwined as tree limbs
Dappled sunlight over us
Soft moss beneath our bodies
Life felt like a perfect dream
Our days were already numbered
Despite how perfect our love was
The universe wanted you back
Angels took you home to soon
Breaking my heart to shatters
I went back to our beautiful tree
Offering myself to her shelter
To remember our love always
I wept upon her roots for us
Begged our tree to ease me
Limbed tendrils embraced me
Where I remain within her grasp
An offering to our lost love
Etched my heart with our tree

(Poetry ) Leap of faith
Leap of faith
Flower petals fall soft against the cheek
Kisses are the warmth that we all seek
Yet love is something not for the meek
Hearts are as uncertain as catching air
Often filled with joy and as much despair
Still we hold out hope to find it somewhere
Eyes wide open yet completely closed
Nothing is ever as you would have supposed
Finding love while your heart just dozed
A moment or a single smile that feels
Nothing is simple and seldom is real
Moments that two hearts begin to steal
Chasing roads that have dead ends
Finding lovers inside of two friends
Seeing something that is just pretend
Having not a single clue who you are
As we wish on a millions falling stars
Trying to forget about previous scars
Take a blind leap and relearn to fly
To breathe the wind to touch the sky
Look in someone's eyes and say "oh my"
